Choosing between IP and analogue is a matter of context, not fashion. Analogue still makes sense where coaxial cabling already exists and budget is tight. IP becomes necessary as soon as you need high definition, plate recognition or gradual expansion. We also size retention: recording without being able to go back two weeks is of little use in a dispute.

Do the cameras keep working during a power cut?
With a UPS, yes. We recommend one systematically: a system that dies with the mains protects poorly.
